Garden Maintenance

You cannot beat the real thing! Grass is such a beautiful attribute to any garden, although when you haven't got time to make the cut, the lawn can quickly grow in to a monster if allowed. All lawns of all sizes tackled as regular maintenance, or one off job's.

Dethatching and scarification is a must for any lawn in the autumn and spring, along with feeding and fertilisation, ask me for more details on how to keep your lawn perfect all year

Fence and Decking Treatment

Sometimes life or health can get in the way of maintaining your garden, all it takes is a few weeks and your garden can seem an unbearable task to tame again! I do see this happen regularly where my customers have beautiful garden's, but obstacles come along in life, whether it be developing poor physical  or mental health, or changes in financial circumstances. If this is the case, please dont stress, I'm here to help where I can

Fence and Decking Treatment

Fence and Decking Treatment

Wood is a beautiful material and aesthetically perfect in any home or garden! Unfortunately the weather and humidity will wear down  exterior woods original treatment after around 6 months and the wood starts to fade over time and build up dirt and algae, which causes it to go brittle and starts the rotting process without proper treatment. Whether it may be an oil application for your decking, a varnish for your furniture, or a good quality paint for your fence, wood can be brought back to life with some TLC and patience, to make it last years longer so you don't have to go to the huge expense of replacing with new. With the price of wood these day's, it makes sense to treat the wood in your garden every year or two, to keep it fresh for many years to come

Hedge Shaping & Topiary

Hedge Shaping & Topiary

The most striking piece in your garden, is the shrubs, flowers and tree's. Unfortunately during growing season they can be overwhelming and grow at an astronomical rate, especially the last 2 years due to the rain we've had in the UK. Any shrub or hedge can be shaped with the right hands and tools, topiary and shaping is a favourite thing of mine to do, the results can be artistic and create a fantastic centrepiece and talking point in your garden

The Makeover

Fence and Decking Treatment

Hedge Shaping & Topiary

Whether you just want a complete change, or want to add value to your garden by adding features, we all need a change up now and again, including our garden's. The garden is the focal point to the whole house!

Please click on the botton below for one of my favourite job's. Customer's asked me to reuse the old decking for panels below the fence, instead of going to the expense of buying new wood, it was debatable due to the weight of each board, but after some reinforcing, it went together pretty well. The end result turned out very pleasing to the eye

Stone & Sleepers

Stone & Sleepers

You cannot beat railway sleepers, especially rustic aged one's, bit original sleepers can be pretty expensive to buy. sleepers are one of my favourite things to work with as they look beautiful in any garden, new sleepers are just as good and they do need treating the following year after installation, the weather can fade them, especially over winter and in the scorching sun.

There are many types and colours of different stone and gravel to use, from golden flint, to cotswold buff stone, and then to slate chippings, we all have our personal preference, and stone is a fantastic addition to any garden as it adds life and colour to your space

Weeding

Artificial Grass

The only part of the garden that grows quickest, and if left for a few week's, can ruin the look of the garden entirely, WEEDS. Apart from slugs, weeds can be awful to have in the garden, although slugs can be helpful in some respect, weeds have no place!

If you have block paving that's a few years old, I'm sure you'll be familiar with weed's constantly coming through, they grow quicker than anything else in the garden. The best way to rid of weed's is by controlling them with a combination of a good weedkiller, combined with a thorough physical removal, which can be monotonous and tiring, but even after all this, they still come back a few months later, so treatment must be done every few month's to suppress growth. Unfortunately, if you have flower beds or borders, the only way to suppress weed growth is by using a gpod quality weed membrane with stone or bark for aesthetics.

It all comes down to physical work to control and rid of weed's.
